Denis Ilyutko

Graduated from the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov in 2001 (scientific advisor Prof. A.A.Tuzhilin).
Was admitted to a full time Ph.D. graduate program in specialtiy 01.01.04 (geometry and topology) of the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics of MSU in 2001, graduated from it in 2004. Defended a dissertation “Geometry of local minimal and extremal networks in normed spaces” for the degree of Candidate of Physics and Mathematics Science (Ph.D.) (scientific advisor Prof. A.A.Tuzhilin) in 2005.
A full position in the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics from 2003.
Scientific interests: topological variational calculus, extreme networks theory, computational geometry, low-dimensional and combinatoric topology, discrete mathematics.
